Christian Pulisic scores again for AC Milan: who are the top American scorers in the Champions League?
Pulisic found the net against Slovan Bratislava, scoring his third UCL goal of the season and extending his lead as the competition’s leading US scorer.
There’s no stopping Christian Pulisic, who scored once again for AC Milan in their Champions League game away to Slovan Bratislava on Tuesday.
The USMNT star was sent clean through on goal by former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham and kept his cool to put the Serie A giants ahead in the 21st minute, although they were quickly pegged back by the Slovakians.
How many Champions League goals has Pulisic scored?
The goal was Pulisic’s eighth of the season in all competitions and third in the Champions League in 2024/25. That now moves him on to 11 goals in Europe’s elite club tournament overall and makes him comfortably the top American goalscorer in its history.
“Captain America,” who has also scored in the UCL for Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, leads the way from Weston McKennie, who has netted five times for Schalke and Juventus.
Former PSV Eindhoven and Rangers winger DaMarcus Beasley is next on four, with ex-Borussia Mönchenglabach full-back Fabian Johnson, Jermaine Jones, formerly of Schalke and current Union Berlin striker Jordan Pefok, while playing for Swiss side Young Boys, the other players with multiple Champions League goals (all two).
