Christian Pulisic has scored on his AC Milan debut. The USMNT forward netted his first goal for the Italian giants with a superb effort from outside the area in the 21st minute of the Serie A encounter.

Before Pulisic got on the score sheet at the Stadio Renato Dell’Ara on Monday, veteran forward Olivier Giroud came up with the opener against Bologna.

Pulisic stunner

Just 10 minutes later, Pulisic linked up with Giroud and finished brilliantly for the Rossoneri in their opening league fixture of the 2023-24 season.

The former Chelsea man played a one-two with Giroud before unleashing from 20 yards with his right foot. Bologna shot-stopper Lukasz Skorupski was left with no chance as it flew past him into the corner to double Milan’s lead on the night.

Milan record first win of campaign

In the 73rd minute, fellow new signing Samuel Chukwueze, who joined the club from Villarreal, replaced Pulisic as head coach Stefano Pioli made four changes in the same minute.

Milan held on to their two-goal lead to record their first victory of the season thanks to the first-half goals and an excellent strike from new boy Pulisic.
