Christian Pulisic embarked on an adventure at AC Milan after three seasons at Chelsea where he struggled to hold down a regular starting place in the XI. After just one season in Italy, his performance levels have increased as has his market value.

Pulisic finds goal-scoring form

Pulisic has made 50 appearances for the Rossoneri in which he scored 15 goals in all competitions and served out 11 assists. The USMNT forward ended the season just behind Olivier Giroud as the team’s second top scorer, signing his best season in Europe so far.

After rediscovering his mojo in Italy, Captain America now has a market value of 40 million euros - almost double what Milan paid Chelsea for him; and the American forward is considered one of the great signings of last season. Stéfano Pioli knows where to use him to get the best out of his attacking power, converting him into one of the most dangerous wingers in Serie A.

Since joining AC Milan, Pulisic’s value has increased its value by 15 million euros according to Transfermarkt’s most recent update in December 2023. The 25-year-old has boosted his valuation by almost 8 million dollars, going from 32 million to 40 million.

USMNT stars shine in Italy

The overall balance for members of the USMNT after the recent campaign in Serie A is positive. Along with Pulisic, Weston McKennie also saw his market value shoot up by three million euros with which it reaches an approximate 28 million euros.

Pulisic and McKennie will soon being joining up with the national team to compete in this summers Copa América which will be hosted by the United States. Both players have the responsibility of carrying the team on their shoulders to achieve the best performance in this edition and who knows, maybe even deliver the country’s first title.

The Copa América gets underway on 20 June. The USMNT are in Group C with Uruguay, Bolivia and Panama and open their campaign against Bolivia at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Sunday 23 June.
