Ciudad de México Update:

Club América are still licking their wounds after the major disappointment of losing to LAFC last weekend with the MLS side securing the final (and highly lucrative) berth at the forthcoming Club World Cup.

The Aguilas have announced that they will play a friendly match against San Diego FC this weekend with the game set to feature Mexican Hirving star Hirving Lozano.

When and where will the game be?

The Snapdragon Stadium will host the friendly game this coming Saturday, June 7th. The game offers América to put the Club World Cup play-in game behind them and offers San Diego a solid test against a top Liga MX outfit.

What was Chucky’s last game against a Liga MX team?

Lozano played for the Tuzos (the only team he played for in Mexican football) and his last game with Pachuca was on May 27, 2017, in the second leg final of the CONCACAF Champions League (2016-17), where Pachuca defeated Tigres de la UANL 1-0. His transfer to PSV Eindhoven of the Eredivisie was confirmed in June 2017.
