Raúl Jiménez did not have his best season at Wolverhampton and his adventure in the English Premier League could come to an end in the coming days.

According to information from W Deportes, the Club América youth player does not feature Julen Lopetegui’s plans for the next half of the season and therefore, Las Águilas are already preparing a possible return of the striker who shone at the Azteca Stadium.

Competition for minutes at Wolves

The midlands team has been awash with striker throughout this campaign already. Diego Costa, Sasa Kalajdzic, Matheus Cunha and Raúl Jiménez are the available options for the Spanish strategist.

Also, Hwang Hee-chan sometimes serves as the battering ram for the team. It should also be kept in mind that the Mexican has a contract until June 2024, so if América are serious about him, they would have to pay whatever amount Wolverhampton demanded. Finally, in Wolves’ victory over Everton, Lopetegui opted for Diego Costa and did not give minutes to the Mexican National Team forward.
