Club León’s Fidel Ambriz on the radar of leading European sides
Mexico U-23 and Club Leon’s central player Fidel Ambriz has been generating interest from LaLiga siee Sevilla and PSV, in the Netherlands
The León midfielder, Fidel Ambriz has been generating interest in Europe following recent solid performances for the Mexico U23 side.
According to Fox Sports, teams from Spain and the Netherlands have been closely following the footsteps of the midfielder who would welcome the possibility of a move to Europe.
Sevilla, in Spain, and PSV, in the Netherlands are the two sides who have reportedly shown interest in the 20-year-old’s services following a series of accomplished performances for Mexico at the Central American and Caribbean Games which are being held in San Salvador.
León are apparently winniling to let Ambriz move to Europe but want to delay any such switch to the 2024 season as the central player formed an important part for the Panzas Verdes in their conquest of the Concacaf Champions League and they feel it’s imperative that he stays for Leon’s participation in the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup which is set to be staged in Saudi Arabia next December.
In the 2023 Clausura, Ambriz played for 1051 minutes in 18 games, scoring two goals for Leon.
