CONCACAF confirm 24/25 Nations League quarterfinal matchups
The United States will face Jamaica’s ‘Reggae Boyz’ in home/away games during the November FIFA international window.

CONCACAF have announced the quarterfinal games of 2024-25 Concacaf Nations League and Mauricio Pochettino’s team have been drawn to play against the ‘Reggae Boyz’ with a ticket to the Final Four of the competition at LA’s SoFi Stadium on the line.

Through a press release, the U.S. Football Federation announced that the first leg will be played on Thursday, November 14 at National Stadium in Kingston, while the second leg will be played on Monday, November 18 at CITYPARK in St. Louis City with precise kick-off times for the game in Jamaica expected to be announced in the forthcoming days.
The second leg of the quarterfinal tie will be Mauricio Pochettino’s first official match on U.S. soil and will kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. PT) at the home of St. Louis City SC. This will be the third time in recent memory that CITYPARK opens its doors to USMNT after the 2023 game against Saint Kitts and Nevis in the 2023 Gold Cup along with a recent 2023 friendly against Uzbekistan.

The Argentine has had mixed fortunes with his first two games in charge of the US team in Austin and Guadalajara, where he oversaw a win against Panama (2-0) and then suffered a defeat at the hands of Mexico with the same result and Pochettino and his backroom staff start preparation on securing work on winning a fourth consecutive CONCACAF Nations League title.

After competing in the group stage of the 2024-25 CNL A League, the Jamaican national side finished as leaders of Group B with two wins and two draws and will now look to defend this undefeated record against the USMNT in November. The ‘Reggae Boyz’ victories came against Honduras (1-2) and Nicaragua (0-2), while the draws coming in the games against Cuba (0-0) and in their last game against Honduras (0-0).

The team led by Steve McClaren will be keen to make a big statement in the Nations League with plenty of quality throughout the team featuring the likes of: Michail Antonio, Demarai Gray, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Mason Holgate and Kasey Palmer.
