The news shocked the whole world, and tributes have poured in since, including a touching tribute from Liverpool fans at Anfield, applauding in unison in honour of Manchester United’s ‘7′, as everyone wanted to make their feelings known to the Portuguese star and the family. In the same statement they also said: “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.”.

That girl is “firm, strong and full of health”, Katia Aveiro, Cristiano’s sister, said following the birth. And, after three days without hearing much, the footballer shared a first image in which the whole family can be seen, with Georgina and the newborn baby girl together with the striker, Cristiano Jr, Alana, Mateo and Eva.

It’s a picture in which the family can be seen happy and united, with the baby girl in Cristiano’s arms in what looks like it could be her new room.
