Spalletti was eager to see Ronaldo at Napoli
Now, Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti has acknowledged that he dreamed “a little” about Ronaldo playing alongside Victor Osimhen for his side and the Italian tactician also spoke directly to the Portuguese.

Do you want to do it? Are you ready?”. The Italian’s response was consistent with what he had said in public: “I’m ready. If you come, I will gladly train you”. In the end it wasn’t to be and Ronaldo remained at Old Trafford, but Spalletti was keen on the union.
