Cristiano Ronaldo attends Spanish Super Cup final: what black ring does he wear on his ring finger?

The former Real Madrid icon is in attendance in his home stadium as his old team take on Barcelona in El Clásico.

Cristiano Ronaldo is no stranger to El Clásico, scoring 18 goals for Real Madrid against Barcelona, the second most in the fixture after - obviously - arch rival Lionel Messi, who netted 26 times. The Portuguese superstar was at another clash between the LaLiga rivals as they faced off in the 2024 Spanish Super Cup final in Riyadh, but was an interested spectator rather than the main attraction on the field.

Ronaldo serenaded by Madrid fans outside Al Nassr’s stadium

The 38-year-old didn’t have far to go to watch old teammates Vinícius Júnior, Toni Kroos and Co in action, with the match being held at KSU Stadium/Al-Awaal Park, which just happens to be the home of Al Nassr, the Saudi Pro League team he joined at the start of 2023.

Ronaldo was serenaded by Madrid followers outside the ground before kick off and he was snapped waving to match-going fans as he was driven to the stadium before the match.

CR7′s smart fitness ring: what does it do?

And one that caught the eye was what the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was wearing on his ring finger. With Ronaldo and long-term partner Georgina Rodríguez famously not married, he is regularly seen wearing a black ring rather than a wedding ring, as many married people do.

The Portugal captain instead wears a smart fitness ring made by Finnish startup company Oura Health, which tracks sleep, heart rate and brain function. Given Ronaldo’s well-known obsession with looking after himself, it won’t come as a surprise to learn he constantly receives information about his heart rate, respiration rate, body temperature and movement, whether asleep or awake.

How much does Ronaldo’s smart ring cost?

There are a couple of different models on the market, which will set you back in the region of $360 or $440, but despite the price, there’s sadly no guarantee it’ll have you performing as an elite-level sportsperson at the age of 38, like Cristiano.
