Endrick vs Güler: Madrid fans predict who will have more impact
The 18-year-old Brazilian striker was unveiled as a new Real Madrid player in front of 50,000 people inside the Santiago Bernabéu.
As if the star signing of Kylian Mbappé was not enough for Real Madrid to reinforce the team’s attack, Los Blancos presented today, July 27, another brand-new player for the 2024/25 season: Endrick.
Only 11 days had passed since the Frenchman kissed the Real Madrid badge in front of 85,000 fans at the Santiago Bernabéu (plus everyone else who watched around the world), and now it was Endrick’s turn. The 18-year-old player was unveiled as a new Real Madrid player in front of 50,000 fans at the Santiago Bernabéu, and as always, the expectations are high.
AS USA were inside the stadium and asked the Madridistas about their feeling around Endrick’s arrival at the Spanish club.

What position will Endrick play at Real Madrid?
Although the Brilizian attacker played most of his games with Palmeiras as a center-forward, fans believe that Endrick’s potential is on the wing, considering Mbappe’s arrival. Rafa, a lifelong Madridista, was one of those fans who, although excited to see the Brazilian play at Real Madrid, recognized that it was difficult to see him as a player as a striker: “I’m so excited for Endrick. The problem is whether he gets time as a central striker, so I think he could start on the right”.
Other fans also saw a possible right-wing position for Endrick. Jaime spoke to AS from a more tactical point of view about the situation: “I don’t know what position he’ll play, but if he plays well for Ancelotti, not just with goals but following orders tactically, then he’ll be rewarded. I see him more as a winger; he doesn’t have the body of a center-forward. The stronger defenders have it easy against him. Perhaps he could be a false-9, but I don’t see it.”
Endrick vs Arda Güler: Who do Real Madrid fans prefer?
The Madridistas can boast that they have two of the most promising youngsters in their squad: Endrick and Arda Güler. Although they play in different positions, there is always time for a debate about who gives the fans more hope.
Valeria is one of those fans joining the Turkish player’s side, although the Brazilian attacker gives her hope: “Arda excites me more than Endrick, but only because I’ve seen him more. I’m excited to see Endrick in the white shirt.” Rafa, on the other hand, told AS that he can’t take sides: “For me, Endrick is fantastic. He’s Brazilian, which is exciting, but Güler had a great Euros. I can’t wait to see them both.”
Real Madrid fans’ advice to Endrick
AS USA threw fans a curveball when we asked about Endrick’s arrival and decided to put them in the position of the Real Madrid coach advising the youngster.
Josué, a Venezuelan fan excited about the attacker being another South American representative at the club, said that the player “should be patient because he’s young; the same thing was shown with Arda, who just had a fantastic Euros. He can do things little by little, and I hope he gets his chance”.
Sergio agreed that Endrick should take things step by step but highlighted that the most important thing is that the attacker has fun while playing with Real Madrid: “Don’t worry about the pressure of playing for Madrid. Enjoy yourself, enjoy playing. That’s the best thing he can do. If he is having fun, we’ll have fun too.”
