Erik ten Hag criticises Cristiano Ronaldo for leaving Old Trafford

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has criticised Cristiano Ronaldo for leaving Sunday’s friendly against Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford.
Having started his first pre-season friendly of the summer, Ronaldo was substituted at half-time in the 1-1 draw and was later seen outside the stadium before the end of the match.
Ronaldo’s compatriot Diogo Dalot was another who left before the end of the draw with the La Liga outfit.
Ten Hag: Ronaldo’s behaviour unacceptable
“I certainly don’t condone this,” Ten Hag said about the players leaving early to Dutch broadcaster Viaplay.
“This is unacceptable, for everyone. We are a team and you have to stay until the end.”
No offers for Ronaldo
Ronaldo has told United that he wants to leave the club if a viable offer came in for him, however, as things stand, no offers have been made for the forward, despite agent Jorge Mendes’ talks with several top clubs.
Atlético Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Napoli have been among the clubs linked with a move for the veteran forward.
United start their Premier League campaign against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Sunday.
