How does it all work?

Hosts Germany are seeded in Pot 1 but are not drawn as they are automatically allocated to Group A. The three eventual play-off winners have been assigned to Pot 4.

The six pots (A, B, C, D, E, F) are required to draw the respective team’s position in each group.

Pots B-F contain four balls each to represent the positions available in each group (eg B1, B2, B3 and B4).

Pot A contains only three balls for the positions A2, A3 and A4 in Group A, since Germany will occupy position A1.

We're now live at Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie hall with hosts Pedro Pinto and Esther Sedlaczek.

England discover Euro 2024 draw group of death possibility

England could be included in a tricky group in the Euro 2024 draw on Saturday. A ‘group of death’ for Gareth Southgate’s men would arguably include Denmark and the Netherlands or Croatia from Pot Three.

England - runners-up at Euro 2020 - will be one of the favourites to win the tournament.

In qualifying, they topped Group C ahead of reigning European champions Italy, which has earned them a place among the top seeds for the draw.
