FA Cup 2024 semi-finals draw: Teams, fixtures, dates and pairings
Premier League giants Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all in contention to win the trophy, along with Championship side Coventry City.
Manchester City will take on Chelsea in the pick of the 2023/24 FA Cup semi-finals, with Manchester United drawn to play against Coventry City in the other last-four clash.
The two ties will be played at Wembley Stadium in London on the weekend of Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April.

What happens if there’s a tie?
FA Cup ties beyond the quarter-finals are settled on the day. That means the semi-final ties will go to extra time (two periods of 15 minutes) if the teams are level after 90 minutes. If they still cannot be separated, a penalty shootout will follow.

In the tie of the quarter-finals at Old Trafford on Sunday, Manchester United got the better of bitter rivals Liverpool in dramatic fashion to progress to the semis, with Amad Diallo sealing an incredible 4-3 extra-time victory for the Red Devils with one of the last kicks of the game.
Earlier the same day, Cole Palmer was once again among the goals as Chelsea defeated Championship leaders Leicester City, although they needed injury-time strikes from substitutes Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke to prevail at Stamford Bridge.
On Saturday, Manchester City made light work of Newcastle United thanks to two Bernardo Silva goals in the first half. The shock of the round was provided by second-tier side Coventry City, who also scored two goals in stoppage time to turn their tie against Wolves around.

Where and when will the 2023/24 FA Cup final be played?
As is customary, the FA Cup final will be played at Wembley in London on Saturday 25 May 2024.
The winners of the cup will qualify directly for the group stage of the 2024/25 Europa League. Should the team in question have already secured European qualification via their Premier League placing, the next club who haven’t already qualified for Europe will take the slot.
Manchester City are the current holders after beating city rivals United 2-1 in last season’s final and are bidding to become the first team to defend the trophy since Arsenal won it in 2013/14 and 2014/15.
