A tame first half that saw Dallas lead and just when it seemed that Messi was set to taste his first defeat in an Inter Miami shirt a crazy Farfan own goal and then a moment of inspiration from the Argentine with a trade mark free kick secured a late 4-4 draw that took the Round of 16 clash to a penalty shoot out.
Paxton Pomykal was the villain for FC Dallas as he blazed over from the spot with Miami converting all their spot kicks and Tata Martino's side now advance to the next stage of the competition where the will face Houston or Charlotte at the DRV PNK Stadium next weekend.
