Firmino linked with Juventus
According to Tuttomercato, the ‘Vecchia Signora’ is preparing an offer of 23 million euro for Liverpool’s Brazilian striker.
Roberto Firmino could be the next striker to leave Liverpool after Sadio Mané departed for Bayern Munich earlier this summer. The Brazilian striker, initially untouchable for Klopp in his first years at Anfield, has taken on a secondary role and has dropped down the pecking order behind the likes of Diogo Jota or Luis Díaz. The Brazilian is also out of contract come the end of June in 2023.
This is one of the key reasons for the Premier League club working to find a way out to recoup on their 41 million euro when they signed him from German side Hoffenheim some seven years ago. The player, for his part is open to the idea of a new destination in which he would secure more guaranteed first team football and this could be offered by Juventus, as reported by Tuttomercato.
The Bianconeri are working to sign a ‘9′ capable of playing with with Dusan Vlahovic, despite the fact that Serbian starts as the undisputed starter. Morata appears to be heading to Atlético Madrid, prompting Juve to scan the market for another top name forward.
