Romeu predicts a 'battle'
The new FCB central player who made the short move from Girona in the summer offered his views ahead of the season opener and predicted that the game in Getafe would be a 'battle'.

The former Man City player was only registered this week with LaLiga and will make his debut in Spain's top flight tonight in Getafe.

Head coach Jose Bordalas has named his team for the first test of the new season.
Xavi's main complaint for the corresponding fixture last year (which ended 0-0) was the state of the pitch with the coach from Terrassa stating that the pitch was too dry and this hindered his team.
31C expected at kick-off
The heat in the Spanish capital has been stifling over the past few days but fortunately has dropped slightly for the season opener.
A temperature of 31C/88 F is expected at kick-off with referee Cesar Soto Grado likely to call for two water breaks during the game.

The FCB manager was in a positive frame of mind when speaking to the press ahead of the season opener: "The team is looking confident and feeling good. Of course we have to play a very strong and defensively robust team. It's a very difficult first game, but we'll try to play our way and control the game, and give our best from the off."
"We need a lot of movement and bodies in the area against teams that play with a low block."
Key Getafe absentees
Jose Bordalas starts the new season without four key players and will be without Unal and Luis Milla for time time but despite missing the start of the new campaign, Arambarri and Carmona are expected back soon with both players in the final stages of recovering from their respective injuries.
