Gianni Infantino goes to Mexico, what is the reason for his visit?
The FIFA president will be present in Mexico City over the coming days, but what is he there for?
The fifth edition of the Football Law Annual Review (annual review of football law) will be held in Mexico City, and the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino will be there.
The event will begin this Thursday, as law experts specialised in the sport discuss various topics in a hotel located in the western part of the city. The man who presides over football’s highest body celebrated his seven-year tenure on February 26, and will welcome those in attendance, including Yon de Luisa.

The first conference will be given by Emilio García Silvero, FIFA’s director of legal affairs, who will talk about the organisation’s objectives for the year 2023. Luís Villas-Boas Pires, FIFA’s chief agent, will give a presentation on the new regulations for football players’ representatives, which came into force on January 9.
On Friday, the closing day of the event, the still president of the Mexican Soccer Federation, Yon de Luisa, will take part in one of the most anticipated conferences of the event regarding the case of the European Super League, headed by By Emily Devlin, FIFA Deputy Director of Legal Affairs.
The closing activity will be a round table on what should change in CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) to better serve football as a whole.
