Haaland, Pogba and Ibra’s agent Mino Raiola in ‘serious condition’

Despite claims from Italy that football super-agent Mino Raiola had died, his agency have stated that the 54-year-old is in a serious condition but has not passed away.

Contrary to claims from Italy that football super-agent Mino Raiola had died, his agency have stated that the 54-year-old is in a serious condition but has not passed away.

In the last few hours news of his death has spread and this was denied by Alberto Zangrillo, head of the Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Unit at San Raffaele hospital in Milan. “He is struggling, but he is still alive. We are outraged by those who are speculating about his life.”

Well known Italian outlets such as: ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, ‘Il Tempo’ and ‘Il Messaggero’ initally carried reports of his death, later news outlets such as ‘Corriere della Sera’ and ‘La Repubblica’ also carried out reports that the 54-year-old had passed away.

The agent even took time to tweet regarding the situation stating: “Current health status for the ones wondering: pissed off second time in 4 months they kill me. Seem also able to resuscitate.”

The young Raiola started involvement in player representation with the arrival of Dennis Bergkamp at Inter Milan was his first big deal until he set up his own agency in the late 1990s. The signings of Paul Pogba with Man United , De Ligt at Juventus and Donnarumma’s move to Paris Saint-Germain were his last major deals.

Raiola also represented Erling Haaland and oversaw his move from Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund in December 2019 and his was currently working on a possible departure this summer for the Norwegian striker.
