Erling Haaland’s father had to be escorted out of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium for exchanging insults with Real Madrid fans and throwing food at them.

Footage of Erling Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge Haaland, being escorted out of the Santiago Bernabeu has gone viral on the internet. Manchester City’s superstar, Erling Haaland, helped lead his side to a 1-1 draw in their Champions League semifinal first leg matchup with Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Haaland’s father kicked out of Bernabeu for allegedly throwing food at fans

Alf-Inge Haaland was sitting in one of the corporate boxes to watch his son play. The video that’s gone viral on social media shows fans chanting to him, saying “Adios” as he eggs them on, waving and putting his hands to his ears, asking for more. Security eventually comes in and escorts Haaland out of the corporate box. Reports from Spanish journalist Iñaki Angulo say that Haaland had not only insulted the fans, but also thrown food at them during the interaction.

On the field, his son didn’t make the impact he typically does. Held off by Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba, Haaland was unable to add to his ridiculous goal count for the season, which currently sits at a whopping 51.
