30-year-old Henry Martín made his way to the top of the game starting off in Merida with second tier side Venados, before securing a move to Xolos before moving to his current home at Club America. Martin is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous strikers in Liga MX and has already won an Olympic Bronze and played for ‘El Tri’ in the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

The 30-year-old has been named “Forward of the Year” and “Best Player in Liga MX”, as well as winning the top scorer title during the Clausura 2022 and the player has started to generate a degree of interest outside Mexico.

Saudi Arabia interest

According to information from global transfer expert Ekrem Konur, there are various Saudi Pro League sides closely monitoring the player from the Yucatan although no clubs in particular have been named.

The Mexican could seen be lining up besides the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté, Rubén Neves and Edouard Mendy among others as the Saudi League shows its financial muscle in the current global transfer market.
