PSV are streaking away at the top of the Eredivisie with five wins from five as the Mexican striker was on target as the Eindhoven side crushed bottom side Almere City.
Hirving ´Chucky´Lozano returned to the starting lineup with PSV Eindhoven and only needed 42 minutes to find the target for the early season pacesetters in the Netherlands as they won away at bottom side Almere City.
The Mexican scored the second goal for the current Eredivisie champions against the lowly Almere who have only managed a solitary point in their opening six games.
Lozano looking for a half ton
Lozano registered 34 goals in his first two seasons with the Netherlands club and with his strike against Almere he is 15 goals away from reaching 50.
PSV were always in control in Saturday’s game with Guus Til opening the scoring after 26 minutes before the Mexican doubled PSV’s advantage shortly before the interval. A 66th minute effort from Veerman consolidated the win with USMNT striker Ricardo Pepi putting the icing on the cake with a fourth in added time.
