Mohamed Salah will go down in history as one of Liverpool’s all-time greats but with the forward heading into the latter stage of his career, the Anfield recruitment team is scouring Europe for the next generational talents.
The Premier League club are expected to do battle with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and Serie A side Atalanta for Benfica’s Kyanno Silva, according to reports.

Siva, 18, has attracted the attention of some of Europe’s top sides after playing for the Portuguese giants in the UEFA Youth League this season.
The exciting right-winger, netted in the club’s 2-1 victory over Basque side Real Sociedad and has played for Benfica’s under-23 team this season, as he continues developing in Lisbon.
Silva is yet to make a senior appearance for Benfica in the Portuguese top flight but has scored one goal in six games in Portugal’s under-23 league in 2023-24.
Football Insider report that Liverpool have made an approach for the Netherlands under-19 international as he has just six months remaining on his current contract.
Before making the move to Portugal in 2021 to sign a three-year deal with Benfica, Silva’s footballing education started with Dutch clubs Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam.
The Premier League could now be his next destination should Liverpool accelerate their interest in the talented wideman as they look to the future at Anfield.
