How much do Chelsea want for Christian Pulisic? Milan in talks over move for USMNT forward
USMNT player Pulisic is willing to lower his wage to leave Chelsea and join Serie A outfit AC Milan this summer.
AC Milan are in talks with Chelsea over a move for Christian Pulisic. The Rossoneri have yet to reach an agreement for the USMNT player but negotiations are underway and Pulisic is keen on the move to San Siro.
Milan are willing to pay a fee in the region of €15 million for the 24-year-old, report Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Chelsea believe that the former Borussia Dortmund player is worth at least €20 million. Despite the current differences between the parties, they are set to continue working to find a deal over the coming days.
Pulisic to take pay cut
Pulisic is willing to lower his wage to move to the Serie A outfit. He currently earns €4 million per season at Stamford Bridge and Milan would pay a lower salary if they are to complete the signing of the US international.
Last season, Pulisic only played 1,012 minutes in thirty appearances across all competitions for Chelsea. In 145 appearances for the Premier League club, he has scored 26 goals and registered 21 assists.
Yunus Musah to Milan
Another player Milan are hoping to sign this summer is Valencia and USMNT midfielder Yunus Musah. The 20-year-old has given the go-ahead to a move to the Italian club but it is now up to the parties involved to come to an agreement.
Musah represents the USA having played for England at underage level, and featured four times for Gregg Berhalter’s side at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
He became a key player for Valencia in the last couple of seasons, making 33 league appearances for Los Che in 2022-23.
In talks for Chukwueze
Milan have also opened talks with Villarreal for Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze, which would provide competition for Pulisic in the club’s forward line.
