How to get the FC Barcelona x Rolling Stones ‘El Clásico’ shirt

FC Barcelona will wear the azulgrana shirt adorned with the iconic Rolling Stones Tongue & Lips logo as their main shirt sponsor for the El Clasico clash against Real Madrid at Montjuic on 28 October.

The first competitive El Clasico showdown of the 2023/24 season will take place at Barça’s new temporary home of Montjuic whilst renovation work is being carried out at Camp Nou.

With the English rockers set to release their new studio album ‘Hackney Diamonds’ on 20 October, the initiative will form part of the marketing plan for the band as part of the Spotify sponsorship deal the Catalan giants have in place with the streaming service.

Stones statement

“We’re huge football fans and honoured that Spotify have brought our Tongue & Lips logo to grace the FC Barcelona shirt to celebrate the release of the Stones’ new ‘Hackney Diamonds’ album. We’ll be cheering on the players on the pitch as well as fans around the world who will be tuning in to watch this iconic match.”

Drake and Rosalia precedents

This will not be the first time that the azulgrana shirt is adorned with a music logo as both Canadian rapper Drake and versatile Spanish singer Rosalia have seen their respective logos grace the FC Barcelona shirt recently as part of one-off Spotify campaigns.

Originals of the Rosalia shirt are now available on resale platforms for over 700 dollars and should any Rolling Stones shirts be produced by Nike and the Catalan club, it’s expected too that the would become instant collectors items.

How to get the FCB x Stones shirt

At present the club have yet to confirm how supporters can acquire the limited edition shirt and are advising fans to sign up to the FC Barcelona ‘Culers’ fan platform where early bird information relating to sale dates will be confirmed.

New ‘Culers’ will also be entered into a draw to win a pair of tickets for the Cláscio at the end of October in the Catalan capital.
