How to get tickets for the UEFA Champions League final
Paris’ Stade de France is the venue for 2021-22 Champions League final with fans now able to request tickets for the showpiece match in May.
Four teams remain in the 2021-22 Champions League with the semi-final first legs between Manchester City-Real Madrid and Liverpool-Villarreal set to commence this week.
The final will go ahead in Paris on 28 May with the game originally scheduled to be played in Saint Petersburg, but following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine at the end of February, UEFA stripped the Russian city of the rights to stage the game with the match now set to take place at the Stade de France in the French capital.
Ticket sales
UEFA have confirmed that ticket sales window for the 2022 UEFA Champions League final is open and will run through to 28 April at 14:00 CEST.
A total of 52,000 tickets out of 75,000 (the stadium’s capacity for the final) are available for fans and the general public to purchase.
The two teams that reach the final will receive 20,000 each, while 12,000 tickets are being offered for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com.
The tickets will not be sold on a first come, first served basis and given that demand will outstrip supply a ballot process will be conducted to allocate the tickets once the application period has ended.
