Since their inception in 2018 and first MLS games in 2020, the club have played their games in neighbouring Fort Lauderdale (roughly 30 miles north of Miami) but have finally announced plans to move to downtown Miami with the creation of Miami Freedom Park, with the name of the stadium coming from the club motto ‘Freedom to Dream’.

Located adjacent to Miami International Airport, at the site of the former Melreese Golf Course, the 26,700-seat stadium will be the centerpiece of a 131-acre development that will include a 58-acre public park, playing fields, entertainment-based retail and attractions along with restaurants and hotels.

The club statement specified that Miami Freedom Park is scheduled to open in 2026 with the club even opening up pre-sale season tickets for the ‘26 MLS season.
