The collaboration between MLS and Marvel aims to link the comic book icons to ordinary people. For the Fourth of July fixture the special jersey is emblazoned with the logo of Marvel’s Captain America.

The jersey features a series of interlocking Captain America ‘stars-and-stripes’ logos. The top will also be made available for other MLS teams across this period.

“Major League Soccer and adidas’ Marvel collaboration captures the unique spirit, confident attitude, and diverse environment that embodies the sport of soccer,” said Rachel Hoagland, senior vice president of MLS Consumer Products.

“This special collection is the latest evolution of the League’s commitment to spotlighting the creativity in our sport and connecting soccer with progressive fashion offerings.”
