Inter Milan monitoring Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa
After his good performances, the Mexican goalkeeper is being monitored by several Serie A clubs.
At 37 years of age, goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa is still one of the best Mexican shot-stoppers and he is proving that in Serie A with Salernitana. Thanks to his outstanding performances, Ochoa is attracting the interest of several clubs, including Inter Milan.
According to TuttoSalernitana, Inter are willing to sign the player in the summer window. Ochoa’s contract will expire this summer, but he could sign a new deal with Salernitana.
Several clubs have enquired about his situation for next season but so far he has not accepted any offers. The intention of the veteran netminder is to be the first-choice keeper wherever he plays.
Ochoa keen on another World Cup with Mexico
Ochoa is still hoping to play in the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Mexico and Canada. He will face competition from fellow keepers Luis Malagón and Carlos Acevedo, who are pushing to be the next first-choice for Mexico.
