UEFA Nations League football returns to our screens today. We take a look at the group fixtures on Tuesday 27 September.

League A: Group 2

It’s first against second in Braga as both Portugal and Spain look to clinch top spot in the group and advance to the Nations League finals.

Spain’s defeat to Switzerland in Zaragoza on Saturday means they need to beat Fernando Santos’ men.

The Czech Republic currently sit two points off Switzerland, who are in third place after their impressive victory over Spain. A win for the Czechs would see them move into third and relegate Switzerland to League B.

League B: Group 1

Ukraine take on Scotland and a win would see them leapfrog the Tartan Army to win Group B1.

Four points from a possible 12 against Ukraine and Scotland means Ireland will head into the match knowing that they could still be relegated to League C.

Armenia come into the game bottom of the group but just one point behind Stephen Kenny’s side, thanks to their surprise victory over the Irish in Yerevan.

League B: Group 2

Albania host Iceland in the only game in the three-team group on Tuesday. A win for the home side would see them finish above Iceland with four points. Israel have wrapped things up with eight points from their four games.

League B: Group 4

Norway meet Serbia in a match that will decide who wins the group. Both teams currently sit on 10 points after five games played. The Scandinavians will be hoping the in-form Erling Haaland can get them over the line. Sweden host Slovenia in tonight’s other Group B4 match.

League C: Group 2

Group winners Greece welcome Northern Ireland to Athens. As things stand, Gus Poyet’s men lead the group by six points. Kosovo play Cyprus and a win for either side would see them finish the group in second place behind the Greeks.
