Jadon Sancho set for Borussia Dortmund return: latest details on move from Man Utd
The out-of-favour Manchester United player will travel to Germany to undergo a medical ahead of a return to the Bundesliga.
Jadon Sancho is on his way back to Dortmund after Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund agreed on a loan move for the English winger.
The out-of-favour United player will travel to Germany to undergo a medical ahead of a return to the Bundesliga, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. The deal is reportedly worth €4 million, with Dortmund paying part of Sancho’s salary, however, they won’t have a buy option for their former wideman.
Sancho’s Dortmund record
The 23-year-old has a contract at Old Trafford until 30 June 2026 but a disagreement with head coach Erik ten Hag has seen him left out of the squad in recent months as United continue to struggle in attack.
Sancho previously played with Dortmund from 2017 to 2021 and during his spell at the club he scored 50 goals and registered 64 assists in 137 games across all competitions for Die Schwarzgelben.
Edin Terzic’s side are currently fifth in the Bundesliga after 16 games, 15 points off leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Terzic was reportedly a key part in the player’s decision to move back to his former club.
