Update:
Jenni Hermoso eyes glory with Pachuca ahead of World Cup with Spain

Jenni Hermoso is enjoying a bonanza in Mexico as her club side Pachuca have progressed to, only their third ever Liga MX Femenil final after beating Monterrey 1-0 on aggregate with Viridiana Salazar bagging the winner in a tense semi-final clash.

Hermoso has been in dazzling form for ‘Las Tuzas’ with 21 goals to her name in a Pachuca shirt this season and has formed a formidable striking partnership with Charlyn Corral.

Success in Mexico

Jenni moved to the Mexican club in June of 2022 after missing Euro 2022 due to injury and only made her debut for Pachuca on 16 August against Querétano.

She opened her goal scoring account in a September game against Atlas and is still in the hunt to be top scorer in the Liga Femenil as she trails teammate Corral by two goals.

The Spaniard signed for two seasons with Pachuca and is already a massive fan favourite despite the lure of a return to Spain with the striker confirming that ‘interesting offers’ have been submitted to her agent.

World Cup 2023 looms

The season does not end here for Jenni as the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand lies ahead in July. The former Barcelona, PSG and Atleti player will be one of the internationals representing Spain in the third World Cup event in its history.
