Jurgen Klopp hilariously misunderstands the word “brain fog”

The word “brain fog” sounds a lot like another word if you don’t know the difference, and Klopp was wondering why it wasn’t okay when he said it.

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp had a bit of a slip when trying to describe his brain fog.

“Why can everybody say that word and if I say it, it’s not okay?” asked Klopp in the postgame interview after the game against Manchester United.

He seemed so genuine and confused. A reporter asked which word he was referring to, and instead of saying brain fog, he said casually, “brain f*ck!”

The reporters all laughed, naturally, but poor Klopp was still genuinely confused. They had to explain to him that the word is actually “fog, F-O-G, like mist”.

“Ahh, ok. Sounds exactly the same to my ears,” said Klopp. In fairness, they do sound quite similar. And now I’m inclined to say it the Klopp way actually.
