Any football lover remembers Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero for his career in the Beautiful Game. Having played for esteemed clubs like Atlético Madrid, Manchester City, Barcelona, and the Argentina national team, Agüero has amassed an impressive record of over 700 games, nearly 500 goals, and 200 assists. Notably, he has shared countless memorable moments with his teammate and fellow football icon, Leo Messi.

Agüero: from pitch to Twitch

While Agüero remains an active figure in the world of football, his current involvement extends beyond the playing field. He now holds the position of president in Kunisports and Kunitas, which participate in the Kings League and Queens League, respectively. Additionally, Agüero frequently showcases his skills as a streamer on his Twitch channel, often joined by popular personalities such as Ibai and Gerard Romero.

However, recently he faced an unpleasant surprise on this very platform as he found himself banned.

Kun Agüero banned from Twitch

Agüero’s suspension from Twitch stemmed from a copyright infringement incident during the Champions League match between Manchester City and Real Madrid. In the match, Ancelotti’s team suffered a resounding 4-0 defeat at the hands of Pep Guardiola’s side. Agüero had an agreement with ESPN, Star+, and Disney to provide replays of goals and highlights to viewers, but he was not authorised to livestream the match.

Apparently, Kun committed the oversight of leaving a video of the match uploaded so that it could be seen once the live broadcast was over, and since the agreement they have with the aforementioned companies is for a limited time of two hours, Twitch detected that he had broken the rules while he was live on Star+ during the second half of the match.

The good news for his followers is that the ban was for 48 hours, so he’s already active once again. Be careful with those rights restrictions, kids.
