REAL MADRID
Kvaratskhelia’s father says that his son’s dream is “to play for Real Madrid”
The Napoli footballer’s father revealed the aspirations of the Georgian star: to win the Champions League and play for Real Madrid.
One of the revelations of Europe this season, a player who wears the blue of Napoli and who lifted the Serie A trophy just weeks ago, has winked at Real Madrid once again. On this occasion it was the father of Georgian winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, during the presentation of a book dedicated to his son: A Georgian Miracle.
The player has made an impact on Serie A like no one imagined and thanks to his great performances, Napoli stormed their way to only their third league title in history.
On previous occasions, the Georgian has never had any qualms about declaring himself a fan of the club from the Spanish capital: “His father Badri and I are Barcelona fans, but Kvara loves Madrid. He is a player at that level, he can play for any team”, is what Mamuka Jugeli, his agent, said last March.
Champions League dream for the Napoli forward
Now, with the Italian championship done and dusted and less than a month to go before the summer transfer window opens, the player’s father once again has spoken of Khvicha’s wishes.
During the presentation of the aforementioned book, Badri revealed his sons’ future targets: “Kvaratskhelia’s dreams, his main goals, are to win the Champions League, play for Real Madrid and reach the top international tournaments with Georgia”.
Napoli already know that they won’t have Spalletti at the helm for next season. While the future manager is still being decided upon, a busy summer awaits the Italian champions as many of their title-winning players have aroused the interest of Europe’s big fish; Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia and Kim Min-Jae are three footballers who could leave Naples for large amounts of money. Meanwhile, those close to the ‘Georgian Messi’ continue to wink at Real Madrid.
