LA Galaxy presents new jersey for the 2023 MLS season
Stars including Riqui Puig and Chicharito were in charge of modelling the new green away jersey that the Galaxy will wear in the 2023 season.
Just hours after reigning MLS champions LAFC unveiled their new kit for the 2023 season, the city’s arch rivals, the LA Galaxy made a stellar presentation of the away jersey which they will be wearing during the new campaign, in which they will be seeking the long-awaited title that for the past few years has escaped them.

The presentation of the new LA Galaxy jersey, LA Kit, was carried out through a comprehensive campaign, which involved social media, the club’s official website and a special event at the Million Dollar Theater.
The new LA Galaxy jersey was unveiled by the team’s star figures, including Mexican striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández and former Barcelona player Riqui Puig - one of the footballers to watch out for when the new season kicks off on 25 February.
The LA Galaxy are expected to wear their new strip for the first time on the opening day of the 2023 MLS campaign, when they take on staunch rivals, Carlos Vela’s LAFC in a duel that promises a lot at the Pasadena Rose Bowl.
Details of the new LA Galaxy jersey
At the official presentation of the new kit, the franchise’s president, Chris Klein, revealed that the new strip is a tribute to the history of the club and the city of Los Angeles, as it bears the colors green, gold and red, those used in the official flag of the Californian city.
The shirt also features the flag of the City of Los Angeles in the lower left part, in addition to the shield bearing the five stars that represent each of the titles that the team has won in the MLS - the period between 2011 and 2014 being one of the most glorious in the franchise’s history.
