Facundo Pellistri’s time in Manchester could be coming to an end. The Uruguayan has not had much game time under Erik ten Hag this season, watching most of the games from the bench. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, LA Galaxy will try to convince the winger to join the club this month.

The Galaxy are still scouring the market to find replacements after the departures of Chicharito Hernández and Douglas Costa. The signing of Pellistri would be something of a coup for the club. He is only 22 years old and could have an exciting future ahead of him.

However, a deal will be far from straightforward. According to Romano, PSV are the main contenders for Pellistri’s services. The Dutch side would opt for a loan deal until the end of the season, with the player having to return to United. The ball is now in Pellistri’s court and the Uruguay international will have until the end of the month to decide whether to stay at Old Trafford or embark on a new adventure to rediscover himself.

Copa América with Uruguay

Uruguay manager Marcelo Bielsa has backed Pellistri with the national team and with this summer’s Copa América coming up the winger will want to find game time.
