EL CLASICO
LaLiga set kickoff time and date for El Clásico
Barcelona welcome Real Madrid to the Catalan capital for the first El Clásico clash of the LaLiga EA Sports 2023-24 season.
FC Barcelona and Real Madrid meet for the first time of the 23-24 season in the Catalan capital with LaLiga confirming that the game will be played at 16:15 local time (08:15 am ET) on Saturday, 28 September.
Both sides have enjoyed positive starts to the Spanish league season with both teams unbeaten after four games with Madrid establishing a trailblazing start with four wins from four as the top the LaLiga table. Both Spanish giants did go head-to-head in Dallas last July as part of preseason with the Catalan side running out 3-0 winners.
With Barcelona’s Camp Nou home undergoing refurbishment, the game will be played at the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic and is set to feature Xavi’s men sporting the iconic Rolling Stones tongue logo on the azulgrana shirts as part of a Spotify collaboration to help boost the veteran rocker’s new studio album ‘Hackney Diamonds’ which gets a global release on 20 October.
