Las Vegas is known as the entertainment capital of the world and now it is preparing to host the biggest sporting events in the world in the upcoming months. Starting this summer Sin City will host the second edition of El Clásico in the United States when Real Madrid plays against FC Barcelona on 24 July at the Allegiant Stadium.

Other games that will be played in Las Vegas this summer are Chelsea against Club América on 16 July and six days later Juventus will play against Chivas. Then in 17 September the entertainment capital of the world will host the trilogy fight between Saúl Canelo Álavrez and Gennady Golovkin, which will take place at the T-Mobile Arena.

Other events that will take place in Las Vegas

Next year will be a big one for Sin City as Formula 1 comes to town for the first time in history. Las Vegas is already preparing to host the race in November 2023 and the authorities said that it will be ‘the most difficult kind of event’ to organize because they will shut down the entire strip, something that only occurs twice a year for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and New Year’s Eve.

Las Vegas, Nevada will also host one of the biggest sporting events in the world in 2024. The Allegiant stadium has been chosen to be the venue for the Super Bowl LVIII on 11 February and it will be the first time in the history of NFL that they host this event.
