Leagues Cup 2026: The complete phase-one schedule
Ahead of August and September’s Leagues Cup, the first-round schedule was announced on Thursday.

The soccer calendar in North America won’t be slowing down this summer after the United States, Mexico and Canada host the World Cup. On Thursday, the Leagues Cup announced the official schedule for its upcoming edition, which will run from August 4 through September 6.
For the first time in Leagues Cup history, the tournament will include matches played on Mexican soil. Mexico will host four of the 54 games that make up the opening phase of the competition, which features 18 Liga MX clubs and 18 MLS sides.
Just as in past editions, the tournament will award three spots in the 2027 CONCACAF Champions Cup - one each to the champion, runnerup, and third‑place finisher.
The event opens with a 54‑match group phase that will determine the eight clubs advancing to the quarterfinals. Those knockout rounds will include the top four teams from both MLS and Liga MX based on league-phase performance.
