While LeBron James continues his recovery from the ankle injury that has kept him off court and out of action for the Lakers in recent games, ‘King’ James was at the Crypto.com Arena in LA to show support for his team on Friday as they overcame Milwaukee Bucks with a 123-122 win.

LeBron is a well known Liverpool FC supporter and is a member of the Fenway Sports Group, the consortium who have controlling shares with the English team and it’s true to say that the 4-time NBA champion star also has a special bond with the Anfield team.

The latest line of Liverpool FC x LeBron James clothing has just been released and the veteran basketball player used the pre-game walkway entrance to the LA venue to showcase the new tracksuit and t-shirt collaboration featuring the YNWA acronym, which refers to to the motto of the English club and its characteristic ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ anthem.

James' support comes at a key moment of the season

LeBron’s support for the Anfield side comes at a critical time of the season for Jürgen Klopp’s side as on Sunday Anfield hosts the Premier League clash between Liverpool and Manchester City with the outcome set to be pivotal in seeing which side will secure an advantage as the race for the Premier League title becomes a three-horse race with Arsenal the other side in contention.

Just one point separates the sides at the top of the table with just over ten match days to go in the current 2023-24 campaign.

Although LeBron won’t be present at Anfield on Sunday, he will be no doubt tuning in to see how the clash unfolds in a game that could define the course of the 23-24 Premier League title.

Liverpool are aiming to secure a historic quadruple after winning the Carabao Cup. Jurgen Klopp (who leaves the club at the end of the season) has his sights set on the FA Cup, Europa League and Premier League titles.
