Lewandowski and Barcelona do Rosalia Tiktok trend
The FC Barcelona team announced yesterday they’d be donning Rosalía’s logo for her most recent album on their jersey, so they decided to make this video.
On Wednesday, FC Barcelona announced that their jerseys for El Clásico on March 19 as well as the Femení Clásico on March 25 would be complete with the Catalan singer Rosalía’s logo for her latest album Motomami.
The Rosalía Titok trend
If you’re not on Tiktok, you may have somehow missed the Rosalía trend, but it would be hard to believe. When Rosalía performs one of the songs from Motamami, “Bizcochito”, she sets the beat to the music and then gives a dramatic pose with arms crossed, eyes rolled, and mouth chomping on gum.
It started a viral trend on TikTok of people imitating the singer’s now famous move. And considering the latest Spotify agreement and Rosalía logos on the Barça team’s jerseys, it only made sense for them to jump on board the trend, too.
The video starts with Barça men’s star Robert Lewandowski setting a soccer ball down on the field and gum-chewing, followed by that same look from several other female and male Barcelona players while doing various exercises, sitting on the field, and finally closeups of the player’s faces. It ends with the Spotify logo.
