“Incredible, biblical, heavenly...”

“What a game of football. Absolutely incredible, biblical, heavenly MCFC”, was the message posted to the singer’s Twitter account (with over 3.5 million followers) after witnessing Tuesday’s incredible game which ended 4-3 but was an ode to open attacking football in a match that had everything and is being cited by many as one of the best toes in recent times.

Gallagher has taken to Twitter on previous occasions to comment on City matters and was aghast when the club paid 100 million pounds last summer when the club acquired Jack Grealish from Aston Villa. “100 million fucking pounds” he posted on Twitter following up with: “If that’s the case Foden (Phil) must be worth 500 million plus”.

Real Madrid and City meet again next Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu for the second leg of the 2021-22 Champions League semi-final with a place in the Paris final on the line.
