Liga MX confirm Leagues Cup broadcast on Apple TV in Mexico
This tournament between MLS and Liga MX teams will consist of 77 matches which all be accessed via the Apple MLS Season Pass.
The 2023 Leagues Cup will pit MLS and Liga MX teams against each other in a World Cup-like format which will feature 77 games in total.
Ahead of doubts as to how fans in Mexico could follow the tournament, Liga MX have confirmed that all the matches will be broadcast on Apple TV Season Pass.
“LIGA MX announced that all 77 matches of the Leagues Cup 2023 tournament will be available to watch through MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app in Mexico and around the world.
“Starting today, fans can take advantage of a one-month promotional offer to access the MLS Season Pass. Fans just need to visit https://www.ligamx.net/LeaguesCupRegalo, where they will need to register and follow the instructions to redeem the offer”, claim Liga MX in a statement.
“This agreement will allow fans to enjoy the first official Leagues Cup tournament between LIGA MX and MLS, through MLS Season Pass, which is redefining the way we watch sports with its quality and ease of use.
Leagues Cup is a tournament endorsed by Concacaf that can be seen in more than 100 countries, including Mexico. Messi debut
The competition gets underway on 21 July with new Inter Miami signing Leo Messi set to pull on the pink Inter Miami shirt for the first time as the Florida based side face Cruz Azul in their Leagues Cup opener at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale with tickets exchanging hands for over $1000 with fans anxious to see Messi at close quarters.
