The Argentine didn’t waste any time making his mark in the USA as he took to the field against Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
The perfect night was the one lived by Lionel Messi on his debut with Inter Miami. Despite starting from the bench, the stadium gave itself completely to him from the start of the match. It was a real party with the Argentine at its heart.

Messi achieved his 700th goal, without counting those he scored from penalties, and he also reached the same number of victories in his career. The Argentine had achieved 542 wins with Barcelona, 108 with the Argentina national team, 49 with PSG and now his first with Inter Miami.

Some critics pointed at Messi being unwise choosing Miami as his next destination taking into account that the team sits at the bottom of the MLS. However the challenge is there for him.
