Liverpool line up three 2026/27 preseason friendlies in the United States

Liverpool’s ambitions of ending the current campaign in the top four suffered another setback at Molineux last night but whether they make it or not, the club is already busy planning ahead for next season.

The Reds return to the United States for the first time in two years with preseason friendlies scheduled against two Premier League clubs and Wrexham as part of the Summer Soccer Series, promoted by TEG Sport.

Liverpool back at Yankee Stadium

It will be the Merseysiders’ fifth summer jaunt to the states in recent years, following the team’s visits in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019 and 2024. One of the games will be played at a venue that Liverpool are familiar with - Yankee Stadium in New York City. They faced Manchester City there in 2015 and Sporting Clube during the 2019 trip.

As part of the preparations for the 2026/27 season, Liverpool will open their mini-US tour against Sunderland at GEODIS Park, Nashville, Tennessee on July 25. Four days later they will be in New York to face Wrexham at Yankee Stadium on July 29.

The Reds’ final game stateside will be against Leeds United at Soldier Field in Chicago on August 2.
