Man United’s Marcus Rashford hits out at ‘false stories’
United striker Marcus Rashford has accused the press of fabricating reports about his future with the Red Devils.
27-year-old Marcus Rashford has lashed out at the UK media after reports that suggest the out of favour player’s future is away from Old Trafford.
The striker took to his Instagram account to clarify the situation despite the fact that he has been overlooked by new United boss Ruben Amorim for four games in a row.
Rashford has struggled for form in front of the target this season managing just four goals and one assist in the 15 Premier League matches he has participated in.

New United boss Amorim has opted for a strikeforce of Diallo, Zirkzee and Hojlund with Rashford seemingly not forming part of his immediate plans.
Rashford lashes out
“Marcus Rashford steps forward in his bid to leave Manchester United and holds talks with the agency that secured his £86m move. Another United star could sign for Saudi Arabia,” reads the headline shared by the English player.
“There have been a lot of false stories written over the last few weeks, but guys, this is getting ridiculous: I have never met with any agency and I have no plans to...”, he stated bluntly on his Instagram account, putting an end to the rumours that, for the moment see him destined for the exit door at Old Trafford.
Next up for the Red Devils is a trip to face Arne Slot’s Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday 5 January and time will tell if Amorim drafts Rashford into his matchday squad for the test against the Premier League leaders.
