Manchester City have a full-strength squad as they prepare for the final four games of a gruelling Premier League campaign. The reigning champions are currently one point behind leaders Arsenal but City have played one game fewer.

Last weekend Ruben Dias and Phil Foden were absent for City due to illness. Goalkeeper Ederson was forced off at halftime against Nottingham Forest after a clash with Willy Boly.

All three have been key players for Manchester City this year but, speaking to reporters on Friday, Pep Guardiola confirmed that all three will be fit to play from the start against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

“[Ederson’s injury] looked worse than it is. He trained yesterday and feels good,” the Spanish head coach explained.

Will Erling Haaland play for Manchester City?

Another recent fitness concern for City was a knock sustained by Erling Haaland in the Champions League exit against Real Madrid. The Norwegian was substituted ahead of extra-time against Madrid and did not feature in subsequent games against Chelsea or Brighton & Hove Albion.

However Haaland was back in the squad against Forest last Sunday and he came off the bench to score the crucial second goal for City, firing past Matz Sels to make the game safe. He has been the subject of some criticism in recent weeks after failing to score, or have any real involvement, in either leg of the UCL loss against Real Madrid.

With Arsenal setting a fierce pace at the top of the Premier League City have little room for error in the run-in. The game against Wolves is followed by trips to Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur, before hosting West Ham United on the final day of the Premier League season. With no European fixtures to contend with and the FA Cup final coming later in May, Pep Guardiola will be able to choose a full-strength starting XI for all of City’s remaining Premier League games.

Manchester City predicted starting XI: Ederson - Josko Gvardiol, Nathan Ake, Ruben Dias, Kyle Walker - Rodri - Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish - Erling Haaland
