Manchester United in talks for Burnley striker Wout Weghorst
Manchester United are targeting the Dutch striker to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo.


Manchester United have made contact with Burnley over a loan move for Wout Weghorst in the January transfer window, report The Athletic.
The 30-year-old has been on loan at Turkish club Besiktas from Burnley since the start of the current season and Besiktas have an option to buy the Netherlands international for €10 million at the end of the 2022-23 season.
United are targeting the tall striker to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo and head coach Erik ten Hag is reportedly an admirer of the forward, who played for the Netherlands in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Weghorst has Premier League experience having played for Burnley before they were relegated to the Championship last season.
