That victory over Palace ended a run of two league games without a win - but it should be noted that those adverse results had both come away from Old Trafford. On home turf, United are in fine form: Erik ten Hag’s men have won eight of their last nine top-flight fixtures at the Theatre of Dreams, including each of the last six.
If they beat Leeds on Wednesday, United will move level on points with second-placed Manchester City, albeit Pep Guardiola’s men will have a game in hand on the Red Devils.
